Title	Mary Hogan Delaney
Summary	Mary Ellen Hogan, daughter of Michael Hogan and Bridget Meagher came to Aurora to teach school at Toll Gate. Miss Hogan's mother and Mrs. Bridgit Delaney were 1st cousins, their mothers Elizabeth Powell Meagher and Temperance Powell Gully were sisters. Mary Ellen Hogan ended up marrying John Delaney, Jr. After her marriage she invited her cousin, Elizabeth Clifford to come to Aurora to take her place as the teacher. Elizabeth Clifford was the daughter of Patrick J.Clifford and Mary Anne Meagher. Elizabeth eventually married John H. Gully, some of Thomas and Temperance Gully. John Gully would have been her mother's cousin, both related through the sisters Elizabeth Powell Meagher and Temperance Powell Gully.
