Berns" "Register" "Groceries" "Goldman's Fruit Store" "Tobacco" "Cigars" "Chemicals" "Drugs" "Jacob Hoefle" "Casino" "Union Bakery & Grocery" and "Wines & Liquor."

Notes	Formerly F5536a.; Photographer's stamp on back: "Colorado Industrial Association Omnia Vincit Laror" and "Awarded to Charles Weitfle Best Collection Photographic Views of Colorado Scenery 1878."; Photoprint and card mount yellowed and faded.; Printed on back of photoprint: "Views on Colorado Central R. R. from Black Hawk to Central City. The most wonderful piece of railroad engineering in America. A distance of nearly five miles is run to overcome one mile and a quarter, at an elevation of 600 feet in that distance. The track forms the letter Z, and as you pass along the Snowy Range above and the thriving towns below, it affords a sight never to be forgotten, and no one visiting Colorado should fail to take a trip over this wonderful road.
