Summary
View of the corner Koenig Building, (Loveland Mercantile Building) at 1122 Washington Avenue, Jefferson County, Colorado, shows the two-story, painted, brick commercial block with a mansard roof and the "Golden Furniture Co." next door in the 1906 Coors Building. A man sits on the curb. Two automobiles show on the paved street. The building was built by pioneer railroad builder, William Austin Hamilton Loveland, in 1863. The 1868 French roof was taken down in 1922, leaving the flat roofline.
