Summary
Miners pose at the Smith & Parmelee Gold Company mill at Gregory Gulch near Central City in Gilpin County, Colorado. The gold mine is beside the Briggs Gold Mining Company lode and on what was known as the Gregory Extension crevice. Shows mule and horse driven wagons, a sluice box, tailings piles, rock retaining walls and frame mine buildings, one with a smokestack.
