Title	Bowman-White House, Georgetown, Colorado
Summary	Exterior view of of the Bowman-White House in Georgetown, Colorado, at 901 Rose Street. The house was built in 1892 by John Henry Bowman, who arrived in Georgetown with his family in the 1880s. The house was passed on to his daughter, Mellie, and her husband John James White in 1901 and remained in the family until acquired by Historic Georgetown in 1974. Eclectic in style, the building includes Gothic Revival and Italianate elements. Visible is the facade of the house: on the left, there is a dormer in the slanting roof over the porch, which has Victorian decoration; a tower, with a pyramidal roof, eaves with brackets, a window on the second story and a door on the first, and scalloped shingle decoration, is in the center. The right section of the facade is a two story gable with shingles under the peak, two windows on the second floor, a tripartite window on the first floor, and a scallop design like that on the tower section between the first and second story windows. Snow is on the roof and in the yard behind the iron fence, and the shadow of a tree is cast on the face of the house. A "No Parking" sign is to the left of the the iron gate. The image is at an angle in the photoprint.
