Exterior view of the Fish House, Georgetown, Colorado. The building has a full-length gable with a bay window, fish-scale shingles, and embellished barge boards, and a porch. Over the doorway there is a square tower with fish-scale shingles. A picket fence surrounds the house; on the porch are two men, a girl, and a woman. Behind the house part of a carriage and a false front building painted with "Dealer" is visible, and beyond is Leavenworth Mountain at the south end of town. Charles R. Fish was the president of the Bank of Clear Creek County, and built the Fish Block and Masonic Building. His son Gaylord was killed in this residence in 1896.
