Title	Pawnee Bill and May Lillie
Summary	Gordon "Pawnee Bill" Lillie and his wife May Manning Lillie pose for a full-length studio portrait. Gordon Lillie sits on a fake tree stump and rests his foot on a fake rock. He is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and tassles adorn the side seams of his pants. May Manning Lillie stands next to her husband. She is also wearing a wide-brimmed hat and holds a rifle in her hands and propped on the floor. A landscape scene is on the backdrop behind them. May Manning, originally of Philadelphia, married Gordon Lillie, a performer in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and later in his own show, in 1886. He reportedly taught her to shoot and she became an outstanding performer in the shows.
