View northwest on Main Street, Black Hawk (Gilpin County), Colorado; shows the debris that choked the streets of Black Hawk after one of many floods that occurred there, and the temporary railroad track with flat cars used to transport the debris to Clear Creek where it was dumped. On the left is the Gilpin Hotel; in the center are men with shovels. At the dead end of the street, is the Jenkins Hardware Store; the Presbyterian church is on the hill.
