Exterior view of Gold Coin Club, 413 West Diamond Avenue, Victor, Colorado. The club house (rebuilt after 1899 fire, formally opened March, 1900) was constructed by Wood Investment Company for employees of Gold Coin Mine; sold after 1904 by Wood brothers to Dr. C.E. Collins who converted it to Red Cross Hospital & used for over decade. Two-story rectangular social club building is constructed of brick with stone & wood trim in Colonial Revival style, with truncated hip roof, projecting cornice with exposed rafters, classical pediment across front with decorative frieze around entire building, two-story enclosed portico (unknown when portico was enclosed, possibly after 1904) with Ionic columns on both floors, second floor windows with two sash.
