Summary	View east on Gregory Street sidewalk, Black Hawk, Colorado. Large wooden planks were used to cover the flume that was built by town residents to minimize damage done to the town as a result of seasonal flooding. A young girl is looking through the planks. A woman is watching and smiling from her bench a few yards away. The walkway fronts shops. Readable signs include: "The Denver Post For Sale Here", "Beech-Nut Chewing Tobacco", "Copenhagen Satisfies" and in the distance, a partially- visible from "Coca-Cola" sign. The shadow of the photographer is visible. In the far distance, a steam and sheetmetal shop is visible.
