View of the second Iron Springs Hotel, in Manitou Springs (El Paso County) Colorado; a sixty-five room luxury hotel was the first to have electricity, when its own water powered turbine became operational in 1885. It boasted electric lights and call bells in every room, and no cheap or excursion rates. The building has a wrap around porch and hipped gables; a horse and buggy are at the steps.
