J. B. Rowley and John White, pioneers of the mining town of Eldora in Boulder County, Colorado, sit at a small wood table in front of a wallpapered wall, probably in a building in Eldora. Rowley is loading bullets into a gun while White looks on from across the table. Two holsters, one with a gun in it and a row of bullets around the belt, sit on the table between the two men. Another holster, possibly holding a rifle, hangs on the wall behind White. Four bullets are on ; the table in front of Rowley. Both men wear hats.
