Fairplay is the mining centre of Park County, and distant from Denver 95 miles. On the Platte, near Fairplay are immense Bard Diggins [sic] very wide and from sixty to one hundred feet in depth, and a few miles beyond are numerous quartz veins."; Title inked in margin.; R7110078145
