Title	Managers of La Veta Hotel
Summary	Joe Howland and his wife pose behind the long wooden front desk of their La Veta Hotel, "The Vein" 219 South Boulevard, Gunnison, Colorado. The interior of the hotel includes potted Boston ferns on top of glass display cases on front desk, large doorways with transoms and moldings, wainscoting, chandliers, and the tall clock with the record of infrequent sunless day in Gunnison. The Howlands served free meals to guests on days the sun did not shine.
