Summary	Scene of a Colorado and Southern Railway train wreck near Foxton (Jefferson County), Colorado. Passengers stand and walk along the tracks. Rock outcrops and brush cover a slope at the shore of the north fork of the South Platte River.

Notes	Condition: faded, discolored, soiled.; Handwritten on back of photographic print "Colo. & So. R.R., Wreck in Platte canon below Foxton, Sept 1, 1901, Coupling broke between engine & tender & locomotive ran ahead of train. Tender jumped track & whole train derailed.; Title pencilled on verso.; R7110060370
