An unidentified, Native American man poses for a studio bust portrait wearing a ceremonial headdress adorned by a beaded band and small horns. He has a hoop earring in each ear and his long braids are wrapped in fur. He wears a buckskin shirt with long tassels hanging from his shoulders. Smaller tassels hang in a v-shape on his chest. The feathers in his headdress have curly strands of hair dangling from them.
