Summary	The Cook Mine complex in Gilpin County, Colorado, stands in the foreground with several mounds of tailings in front of it. A dirt road winds through the right midground toward another shafthouse in the right background. A portion of Central City can be seen behind the shafthouse. A ridge of snow-capped mountains is in the distance.
