Summary	sizeable community.; The Eagle Nest Dam in New Mexico is built around a large rock formation creating a semi-circular structure with a narrow road on its top. Mountains provide the backdrop behind the dam. The Eagle Nest Lake is in the left foreground. A rocky hillside with pine trees is in the right foreground. Started in 1917, the dam took three years to complete but proved to be an almost immediate success. Reports show, by 1922, the Moreno Valley area just above the lake had become a
