Summary
John D. Rockefeller, Jr. sits on a rock wall among the ruins of Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde National Park. Five other men, including Dr. R.W. Corwin, second from right, and Bert Mattison, right, sit with Rockefeller on the wall. Rockefeller's three sons sit in front of the wall. One of the young men, probably Laurence, sits on the edge of the ledge of the cliff dwelling. Another of the young men, probably Nelson, sits at the top of a wood ladder, resting his feet on the ; top rung. Jesse Nusbaum's stepson, Deric, sits on a lower ledge and rests one foot on the same ladder. He has a leather satchel at his waist.
