Summary	The 4-H club of Montrose, Colorado, consists of five girls and three women. They stand behind a display of their wares, which includes jarred fruits and vegetables placed on boxes of mason jars and a small table. A trophy cup and ribbons are on display.

Notes	Summary of a newclip pasted to the back of photoprint: Miss S. A. Topliss, head of the 4-H club in Montrose, Colorado, has, for the first time, enough girls to form the club. The girls have become adept at canning over the last three years, including the procurement of a number of state reserve and grand championships. In 1936, Alice LeBarr was chosen state grand champion. The group cans fruit, vegetables and different kinds of meat. Winners have received trips to the state fair in Pueblo, trips to the Denver rodeo, cash prizes, pressure cookers, and dozens of jars.
