Title	Maria Mitchell graduation class
Summary	Students sit and pose on a staircase at Maria Mitchell School at 32nd (Thirty-second) and Lafayette Streets in the Cole neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Girls wear dresses with rounded collars or wide lapels, camisoles, skirts with box pleats, necklaces, stockings, and laced leather shoes. Girls in sailor dresses with ties include an African American (Black) girl. Boys wear suits with ties, lapel pins, and laced up leather boots. An African American (Black) boy wears knickers. A woman, probably a teacher or principal, sits in profile and wears an overcoat. Names on verso identify class members and include: "Margaret M. Smith [?], Alice C. Swann, Ethel L. Mills, Mabelle Scrafford, Ethel M. Sims, Harriet A. Lannon [?], Chlo Greene, Marion B. Will, Ella Walker Snyder, Dora L. Cameron, Lottie Sullivan, Margaret E. Pierce, Mary M.
