Summary	Prospector Hutch Stevens of Hahns Peak (Routt County; also known as Poverty Bar), Colorado, stands near rock formations near a Nevada Mining Camp. Stevens holds a pick axe in his left hand and has a canteen hanging around his neck. He wears a long coat, a hat, and has his trouser legs tucked into his boots.

Notes	Formerly F43768.; Title typed on paper and attached to back of photoprint.; Typed on card and attached to back of photoprint: "This picture taken in Mch 1907. Hutch Stevens prospecting and mining in American Canon. Humboldt County Nevada. Winter and Spring of 1907. Hutch Stevens was missing from his camp Dec. 6, 1907 his remains were found the next spring near the trail to his mining property and it is supposed he met with an accident. Wolves had devoured is body leaving nothing but the larger bones. He had just made a rich discovery of gold ore, he was 52 years old."; R7100089152
