A bartender stands behind the bar in a saloon associated with the Rocky Mountain Fuel Company possibly in Boulder or Weld Counties, Colorado. Patrons sit at tables, drink beer, and play cards. Several African American (Black) miners are in the bar. Gramophones sit on a large wooden icebox. Advertisements hanging on the walls read: "Adolph Coors, Golden Brewery" and "Coors, Boulder, Bottled Beer." Electric light bulbs and kerosene lamps hang from the ceiling.
