Title	Women's Christian Temperance Union plants memorial tree
Summary	Members of the Women's Christian Temperance Union gather around a small spruce tree at Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wilmore are seated on a park bench near the tree. A plaque reading: "8th District W.C.T.U. Honor Mr. & Mrs. W.W. Wilmore, July 17th, 1942." Members of the Temperance Union present include: Florence L. Stanley, Daisy F. Eigler, Eleanor Skaggs, Rosina Williams, Bessie Mathias, Bertha Teller, Eli M. Gross, Lisbeth G. Fish, and Mrs. G. Haldeman.

Notes	Condition: folded cracked.; Formerly Max 346.; Newspaper article attached to back of print reads: "Living witness to a ceremony performed Friday at the Elich Gardens will be borne for many years by the little Colorado spruce tree shown here. It was planted there by members and officers of the Colorado eighth district of the Women's Christian Temperance union in honor of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Wilmore of Jefferson county, shown here seated behind it. A marker noting the event and date was placed in concrete beside the tree. Standing left to right, Mrs. C.S. Stanley, Mrs. Daisy F. Eigler, Elanor Skaggs, Rosina Williams, Mrs Clifford Mathias, Mrs. H.B. Teller, Eli M. Gross, Mrs. A.G. Fish and Mrs. G. Haldeman.
