Title	Granite public drinking fountain erected by Weld Co.
Summary	A granite fountain in Eaton, Weld County, Colorado, was erected by Weld county; on the stone above the basin is inscribed, "Erected A. D. 1928" flanked by leafy carved decorations. A bronze plaque below reads, "In memory of Dr. John C. Carlson, Born April 1, 1874, Died Jan, 17, 1927, A Friend to Humanity." A bronze nude figure standing over the basin holds two vessels from which water flows, and what appears to be a spigot is on the front of the basin.

Notes	Hand-written in pencil on back of photoprint: Fountain 2 col Mail ed.; Photoprint has been trimmed to follow the edge of the image of the fountain.
