Men and women of the Red Cross stand in the ruins of the Ludlow tent colony (Las Animas County), Colorado after a fire set by the Colorado National Guard. Shows the burned ruins of the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) camp for coal miners established during the 1913-1914 strike against the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company (CF&I). Remains include: bed frames, pots, pans, wash tubs, ovens, barrels, tent frames, and mattress frames.
