Summary
View of the tollgate, tollhouse and Bear Creek Falls on a sheer cliff on the narrow Ouray and Silverton toll road built by Otto Mears, Ouray County, Colorado. Travelers who include well-dressed women and men sit in buggies, on horseback. Men stand by pack burros. The tollhouse is a log structure with chinking.
