Summary
View of a mine identified as the Eaglebird Mine on the Eagle River near Gilman on Battle Mountain (Eagle County), Colorado. Shows a foot bridge, a wood frame aerial tram house and assay office, log supports buttressing a tailings pile, and a mine tramway buttressed with logs and built on the side of the rocky gorge. Above the steep rock walls of the gorge a painted frame house sits on a rock outcrop. Frame buildings in the distance at the top of the gorge are in the town of Gilman.
