The Terrible Silver Cornet Band, of Brownsville, Jefferson County, Colorado, was named after the Terrible mine. Men in suits and stovepipe hats pose holding a bass drum, a snare drum, bass and treble cornets, and trombones. A frame storefront in the background has paned windows, wooden entablature and "Recorder" over the door reading. An adjacent house has jigsawn, gingerbread eaves.
