Interior view of the library in the Frederick Warshauer residence in Antonito, Conejos County, Colorado, shows scenes depicting pastoral and mythological works framed by stylized laurel leaves and portraits of statesmen, writers, and scientists. The beamed ceiling has stenciled borders. Arts and Crafts furniture include chairs, a rocker, book cabinets with tall vases and pitchers on top, tables, sofa, and hanging brass and stained glass lanterns. Oriental rug covers wooden floor. The fireplace alcove is made of sandstone-colored bricks with an oak mantle and wood seats built in next to the fireplace. An animal skin rug is in front of fireplace and bronze figures are on top of the pedestal posts that divide the alcove and library.
