Summary	View of main street businesses in Animas City, two miles north of of Durango, La Plata County, Colorado; includes a canvas top stage coach drawn by six horses pausing in front of three wood frame false fronts; men gathered on boardwalks of buildings; signs read: "Drug & Variety Store." "Post Office" "Peacock Coal Company, ?? Filled" another "Drugs" and "G. W. Kephart and Co., General Outfitting Store;" another false front and a log cabin with a wood shingle roof along the dirt street.
