Summary
Mr. Sawyer stands in the doorway of remains of the Ashcroft post office, (Castle Forks City, Chloride) Pitkin County, Colorado. The elderly man wearing suspenderss and a wide brimhat looks up at the weathered signs above the door: "Ashcroft" and "Post Office." The wood panel doors have lost their glass panes; one lays in the interior. "$10 Reward, Destruction of Property" sign hangs near the doorway and tall weeds grow in front of structure.
