The town of Upper Creede in in the valley, in a steep, narrow, rocky canyon in Mineral County, Colorado. Buildings include one and two- story, wood-frame and log commercial buildings and residences; some are under construction. Evergreen trees grow on the rocky hillsides above the towns.
