Summary	Overview of the Granada Relocation Center, Camp Amache, Prowers County, southeastern Colorado, shows rows of prefabricated army-style barracks (120 x 20 feet.) Twelve of these one-story side gable barracks with tar-paper roofs made a block which had its own recreation hall, laundry, and mess hall. Wooden storage boxes, benches, palettes, and laundry lines show around buildings. Prairie and bare trees are in the distance.

No: E-511, Date 12/12/42; Photo Location: Granada Relocation Center, Amache, Colorado; Data: (title) Temporary army style barracks contain six rooms, separated by composition board walls, with twelve barracks buildings to a block, a small recreation hall, combination shower, latrine and laundry building; and a mess hall building completes the block unit. The center is made up of 30 such blocks, complemented by hospital buildings, administrative office buildings, living quarters, general warehouse structures and military police quarters."; R7100065700
