Title	Georgetown - Colo, looking south
Summary	View of Georgetown, Colorado, south towards Leavenworth Mountain. The valley leading to Silver Plume is to the right; Chimney Rock, a large rock formation with a tall chimney emitting smoke from a smelter is in front of the valley in the distance. Many simple wood construction buildings are at the foot of the mountain, including one which reads "Barton House Stable" part of the Barton House hotel which was built in 1867, burned the same year, and was rebuilt in 1871. A wooded area between the buildings in the foreground and background give an indication of the two towns in the area, Elizabethtown and Georgetown, which merged under the name of Georgetown in 1867. Wood construction buildings in the foreground, primarily barns and small gable-roofed structures, are organized along two dirt roads, and include a small log building with a false front and a barn or stable being roofed.
