View of Lake Junction at east end of Black Canyon of the Gunnison, near Saperino, Colorado, shows three bridges: Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad's bridge erected in 1889, wooden Howe truss bridge over the Lake Fork served the narrow gauge track of the Lake City branch, and new steel arch bridge built in 1924 above the canyon.
