View of a storefront in Georgetown, Colorado, probably on Sixth (6th, Alpine) Street. The wood false front building has "Groceries and Provisions" written the width of the building above the door. The front door is recessed and "Chas. W. Pollard, 506" is written on the glass over the door; a sign reading "Hardware" extends over the sidewalk. The windows are bordered by fluted pilasters; the left window displays ladles, lamps, saws, frying pans, rolling pins, and sieves; canned goods are visible behind potted plants in the right window. A poster with a woman in a horseshoe hangs in the doorway window. Four men are visible: one holds a feather duster, two in the doorway are George Barrett and Sam Strouse, and the fourth man holds a broom. Boxes at the edge of the sidewalk read"Pollard & Co., G-town."
