Exterior view of Jacob Snetzer's tailor shop, Georgetown, Colorado, at Taos and Fifth Street, looking east. The building is of wood construction, with a false front, an elaborate cornice with brackets, and windows with decorative arches on the second floor. The main entrance, a double door, is flanked by two large mullioned windows, and over the first floor a sign the width of the building reads, "J. Snetzer Merchant Tailor." A horseshoe is fastened on the bottom of the sign over the door and the number 414 is above the door frame. A small one story addition is visible on the back of the building, and the side of Grace Episcopal Church is visible on the right, up the hill. A large bush is in front and large rocks and grass surround the building; the dirt street is in front, and the mountains are in the background.
