Exterior view of the Hotel de Paris, Georgetown, Colorado, on the east end of Sixth (Alpine) Street. The hotel was constructed by Louis Dupuy, the proprietor, from three separate buildings, and was completed in 1890. The front and side of the building are stuccoed to look like masonry; the windows of the facade are tall and narrow and have elaborate pediments. The side of the building has a porch with metal columns which forms a balcony on the second floor; under the balcony "Hotel de Paris" is painted on the building wall, "The Hotel de Paris" is painted in the upper left corner of the building, and a sign on the balcony railing reads, "Antiques." The roofline shows chimneys and a sculpture of Justice with her arm raised. A worn board sidewalk runs in front of the building, next to the dirt street; a small wood construction house is on the left of the building, and the mountains are in the background.
