Summary	View of the Horace and Augusta Tabor home, on East 5th (Fifth) Street, in Leadville, (Lake County), Colorado; shows a frame house with a bay window and bargeboard.

Notes	Condition: extensive brushed retouching.; Inked on back of photoprint: "Built in 1878 This house originally stood on Harrison Ave (312) present site of the Tabor Opera House, in 1879. it was moved to its present site and Augusta sold it to her sister, Melvina L. Clark, for $2,500, march 31, 1881." and "Clyde Jackson negative."; Inked on front of card stock: "Alley Lot 17, Lot 18, Lot 19, address 116 E. 5th, address 116 1/2, in Leadville the Browns lived in a house quite similar to this one but on the corner - it is now gone."; Title inked on back of card stock, with: "Dec. 6, 1931 printed in Denver Post, Mar 8, 1935 as Augustas" "116 or 114 East Fifth, in Leadville, moved from the site of next to the Clarendon (now Opera House) to just above the alley Carbondale Ave (now Fifth). Leadville 1879 directory lists the Horace Tabors on Harrison Ave next to Clarendon 1880 directory lists them on East Fourth (mistake?) (probably not moved twice)" "Clarendon 302 Harrison, Opera House 308 - 310 Harrison" "Saeeds [?] Pelton Store in Opera House Bldg - 312 Harrison" "Have abstract of this house and adjoining lot - see my Leadville History notes - Caroline Bancroft" "Store on Lot 17 was Lancaster Harness Shop - it was moved there from across the street when the Bank Annex was built. Lancaster bought it, probably about 1900 - in 1895, Leadville map shows Lot 17 vacant - this was before Bank Annex built."
