Summary	Eight Native American (Oglala Sioux) men participate in the Sun Dance on the Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. They all wear decorative, but different, breechcloths and head wear, and all hold ceremonial whistles in their mouths. Each man also holds a unique symbolic item in his hands, these include a feathered staff, wreaths, ceremonial canes, and sprigs of vegetation.
