Summary	Captain Smith's Deputy Army Veteran Company pose at Camp Boynton in Beaver Park, Cripple Creek District, Teller County, Colorado. A row of men kneel behind a dirt barricade, another row of men stand behind them, all hold rifles. Two cooks with aprons and pans sit on the barricade. The army, mostly sheriffs and former policemen, assembled to suppress the first mining strike in the district.
