The Carter Museum in Breckenridge, Colorado, is a one story, gable roofed, hewn log cabin with white chinking and a shed roofed extension on the left. A sash window is next to the door. Another, smaller hewn log outbuilding is to the left, and a plank fence crosses the image. Other buildings are behind, and in the background of the snow covered scene are mountains of the Ten Mile Range.
