Summary
Principal Kirk has Native American Huron (Wyandot or Wyandotte) boys chop wood, in front of a full wood shed, on the grounds of the Wyandotte Mission School, Kansas. The boys wear jackets and hats and hold axes. Women and girls in dresses with aprons stand in background. One boy stands atop a wagon with wood drawn by mules.
