Title	Cliff House Manitou Springs
Summary	View in Manitou Springs, Colorado, looking north, probably from the Barker House. In the foreground is the Manitou Springs Pavilion, a cross gabled frame structure with a cupola, a rusticated knee-high stone foundation and fancy woodwork in the gable apexes in the form of sunbursts. The roof ridges have cresting, and the enclosed part has fish scale shingling; the east part of the building is open air. Central in the image is the Cliff House Hotel; its north wing is a three story frame structure with a hipped gable roof, a widow's walk, canvas awnings on the windows and a wrap around open air porch. A sign on the soffit reads: 'Cliff House'. The south wing is a two story gable roofed structure with an open air porch and balcony, jigsaw work in the gable apex, awnings on the end windows, and two chimneys. A ladder leans on the south end of the south wing. In the left is the Jerome Wheeler residence, a cross gabled structure with open porches, bays, and a wide lawn enclosed by a rail fence. The Ruxton and Fountain creek bridges are at the bottom of the image, and a man is standing on the Fountain Creek bridge. Scrub and rock covered hills fill the background.
