Title	Piano player, Central City
Summary	A woman in a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt plays a piano in the Gilpin County Art Gallery in Central City, Colorado. The piano is against what used to be the judge's bench in this converted courtroom. Matted, labelled, prints hang on the wall in the background. A sign on the wall reads "First Annual Exhibition, Children's Summer Art Classes."

Notes	Hand-written on back of photoprint: First piano brought into Gilpin County, Colo., across the plains in an ox-cart in the early 60s, for Dr. Ried, "a missionary to the indians at Blackhawk." The piano stands in front of the judge's bench of the first District Court in the Territory of Colorado. This old court room on the 2nd floor of the historic City Hall at Central City is now the art gallery of the Gilpin County Arts Association.; Photoprint's corners are bent and the edges are worn.; Title supplied by cataloger.; R7100029908
