Notes	At head of photographer's byline: "6860."; Condition: Image has been retouched.; Formerly F45502.; Title and "Before the reservations were formed by the government the present Crow tribe was divided into distinct divisions known as the Mountain Crow and the River Crow. This shows the camp of the Mountain Crow at sunset. A shower has just passed, leaving a very striking light effect that was skillfully caught. The waning light, the darkening shadows and the teepees picture the closing of life of the old time Indians" hand-written on back of print.; R7100312107
