Title	Monument Lake Lodge
Summary	Exterior view of a Pueblo style guest lodge at Monument Lake, thirty eight miles west of Trinidad, Colorado. This split level structure is built on a hillside and has three floors built in steps with terraces on the lower roofs. Built of adobe, vigas extend from the upper walls throughout; a rough log loggia covers the ground floor entry, over which a wooden sign reads: "Miramonte Store." The doors and windows have exposed wood lintels with mitred ends. A low adobe wall crosses the foreground, enclosing a lawn area with a central fountain consisting of a low round adobe wall with a central rock pillar.
