View of two white men standing outside of Hefferman's Trading Post, a brush and branch roofed porch surrounded by a wood and wire fence, possibly near Shiprock Agency, New Mexico. A one story adobe and stone building behind the porch has a gable roof, a belfry extension with a weather vane on top, and a metal stovepipe. Inside the porch are various metal pans and buckets, a wooden crate which reads, "Arbuckle's Roasted Coffee" and various wooden handled tools. Near the porch stands, an open air, brush and branch roofed building. Inside the open air building is an unhitched wagon.
