Summary
Washington Hall in Central City, Colorado, is possibly one of the oldest buildings in the town. The two story, clapboard building, which is located along Eureka Street, has a peaked roof and rectangular doors and windows and served as the court house for the town until 1900. Signs on it read, "Gilpin County Art Gallery" and "City Hall." A stairway leads to the main entrance on the right side of the building and the Washington Hall bell tower is to the left. A car and a pickup are parked on the street in front of the building.
